Next week is another confrontation with the Botha constitution. Thousands of millions of people around the world, including the Security Council of the United Nations, are confident of a total rejection of the so-called new constitution in a total boycott of the election by our Indian compatriots.
Such a massive boycott could be a blow from which the apartheid regime may never recover.
Let August the 28th be the D-Day for the neo-Nazis of Africa as May 8, 1945, was for their mentors in Europe. The oppressed masses, exploited workers, the mothers and children of our land, the democratic majority comprising all colours and creeds have assumed responsibility for the destiny of their country. The Botha regime and its apartheid system are living, perhaps even thriving, on borrowed time. Tomorrow is our day.
