The President of the African National Congress Comrade President Zuma will be visiting Upington as part of the launch of the Luthuli Volunteer Corps on the 22nd June 2013 (Saturday). The ANC will be unveiling 5000 volunteers who will be working to secure victory for the elections campaign in the Siyanda region, this is part of the 30 000 volunteers that we have already mobilized across the province.
The President Jacob Zuma is going to have a walk about in communities, visiting homes; meet with first time voters and attend the Luthuli Volunteer Corps that he will address. The volunteer corps launches puts the ANC firmly on an election path, our election machinery is grinding much faster and zealously like at no other time in recent previous elections. As a province we have committed to take 70% of the vote in the Northern Cape based on our service delivery record and the work we have done and continue to do amongst communities.
